Managing Research Contracts and Projects
- Has a comprehensive understanding of BARB with many years experience of using the data, understands TV viewing behaviour from a commercial, competitive and strategic objective.
- Possesses a detailed knowledge of the technical processes of BARB, the recruitment of the panel, its maintenance and statistical control, the collection of the data and its daily delivery to the industry.
- Has been a committee member of several industry committees (e.g. BARB)
- Has commissioned and managed ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative research projects from many leading research suppliers (e.g. Kantar, RSMB, Continental, SPA and YouGov)
Business Strategy
- Involved in many business strategy projects, in particular regarding increased distribution. (e.g. launching new channels, new platforms etc)
- Critically involved in projects that assess the impact of regulatory changes (e.g. changes to COSTA and CRR)
- Represented Channel 5 on a Pan European RTL research group, a forum for sharing research and best practices around the RTL Group.
